Look back with longing eyes and know that I will follow,
Lift me up in your love as a light wind litfs a swallow,
Let our flight be far in sun or blowing rain,
But what if I heard my first love calling me again?

Hold me on your heart as the brave sea holds the foam,
Take me far away to the hills that hide your home;
Peace shall thatch the roof and love shall latch the door,
But what if I heard my first love calling me once more?

If you've watched Winter Sonata, this might sound familiar to you. Btw it's taken from here.

Just finished watching "Elizabeth" on Channel I not too long ago, didn't really watch it in whole, coz there was "The Kumars At No.42" & "Coupling" on Central. Very funny Brit comedy. Love Brit comedies, they are the funniest & Art Central always show really good ones. Well, back to "Elizabeth", it's a great movie, just didn't know what was going on sometimes, due to the switching of channels. Thank God, they didn't show it on Wednesday, or it will clash with Channel 5's "Charmed" & "Smallville". Think I might go borrow the VCD or DVD, so I can enjoy the movie, in a whole, with no commercials & can be viewed at any time, no need to worry if it clashes with other good tv programs.. If only the comedies also come in this form..

Watched "Swimfan" yesterday, with Wen Ling It's an ok film, just average, very average, only. It's about this guy (Jesse Bradford of "Bring It On" fame), who's the high school swimming star, with a nice girlfriend (Shiri Appleby of "Roswell" fame) & an okay life. In steps the new (pyscho) girl (Erika Christensen of.. I've no idea..), who sets out to destroy him after finding out he wants nothing more than a one night stand. The story is fine, except that they could have improved on the scenes, its just too tame, makes me feel sleepy. The only reason why I was kept awake was because of the endless chattering of these Raffles school girls sitting behind my row, constantly commenting about the movie & some girls sitting near the front, who couldn't stop screaming, really loudly, even though nothing's really scary nor shocking, in my terms (thinks almost everyone thinks that way as well, except for them).. Seriously, the situation in the theatre is crazier than that in the show.. It's crazy!!

The first level of Far East Plaza is opened already. Just found out yesterday, & it's real huge.. The place.. Totally couldn't keep track of where I've been to, coz it is just so huge.. This is the first time I, Rachel Lee, actually got slightly lost (like I never ever get lost, Never!!).. My my, must go back there some day, there are so many shops there manz.. Think Annex at Heeren, the same layout, but with much more walking space, basically just muchMuch more bigger.. Can shop till you drop. Knows Hsing would love that place, too bad she's far off in the States.. Too bad!!

Went to the bookshop at Far East Plaza as well & realised that there are alot of books that I want to get. There's Girls' Night Out/Boys' Night In, Girls' Night In, Big Night Out, About A Boy & also Bridget Jones' Diary.. & all of Foxtrot comics.. Sigh.. Love to read, but haven't gotten much good reading material of late & also the lack of time, mainly consumed due to tv programs & the computer (Wonders of Broadband). The last good book that I read was "House Full of Women" by Joan O'Neill.. It's a really great book, maybe for more for females than males. =P & thus, I conclude that I need to buy more books. (At least this way, I don't have to slack at home, provided I have that much free time..)

What female stereotype of Final Fantasy(ps) are you?

brought to you by Quizilla

Ah, the cream of the crop. You're the fantasy of game boys around the world and the prime object of fanfiction romances. The pure, sweet girl who goes against the big meanie for the world she loves. One of you almost died for it... luckily, someone else went in your place. You're a bit too naive, though, and people can easily take advantage of you. Learn to believe in your abilities and stand up for yourself now and then.

Watched Notting Hill on Ch I last night, great show. Its a romantic comedy. The actors have very good lines, the script was witty, they have good script writers.. Especially loved this line "I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.", that's the LINE of this movie!! Anyone who hasn't watch it should go watch it.. It's good!! Think they will repeat it again, like they always repeat the good movies!! Can't wait for thursday night's movie, Elizabeth, starring Cate Blanchett, she's good..

Went to work today.. Nothing much happened, just plain work.. I didn't topple anything. Thank God!! Unlike last Saturday, think I was too tired on that day & the drinks on the tray weren't place too well, that's why it toppled. Sigh!! That was a bad day. & for the past few days I actually had quite a fear of delivering the drinks or soup to the customers. I actually day-dreamed about carrying a tray of soups & toppling it & the porcelain bowls crashing onto the floor, breaking into pieces. Yes, it got that bad!! But nothing bad happened today, phew!! Think I've regained most of my confidence, just wouldn't dare to carry too many drinks on one tray anymore..

Been slacking alot for yesterday & today.. been doing pretty much nothing productive.. been watching alot of tv & vcd, using the computer, eating, sleeping late & waking up late!! Sigh! Finally I've been able to do all this, just stay at home & slack around.. Haha!! Totally love the feeling of doing this.. Don't know when can I do this again, coz for the next few days & weeks, I would be going out & working, going for chalet, basically just being busy.. I need to re-decorate my room & there's alot of reading material lying around, waiting for me to pick them up.

Which Smallville 'Ship Are You?

brought to you by Quizilla

A Sweetheart! How... Sweet! It's a classic tale of a krypto-alien in love with a tragedy struck cheerleader already in love with a perfectly handsome boyfriend... Hm. Maybe it's not so classic, but... Still! Lana and Clark! Cute...

What Sort of Romantic Are You?

brought to you by Quizilla

You're a Romantic Realist. That's quite a paradox, but a good one. You can appreciate love and all things related to romance, but you do it without getting caught up in the commercialized mess. You've got a good head on your shoulders, for the most part.

Tif's on her way back to Perth already, she'll probably get there by midnight.. Sigh.. Missing you already!! Come back soon!! Maybe can go visit you next year, provided got enough money!! heheh!!

Was watching Armageddon just now, the ending part, the part that makes me cry.. I always cry when I'm watching Armageddon, it's one of my favourite movies, very touching.. Great acting & terrific storyline. Tha 1st part is funny, when they were still training to become astronauts, & slowly it becomes touching, as they part with their loved ones & to bombing the asteroid, whereby Bruce Willis's character sacrificed himself. Love this movie!! I was actually thinking about watching it last week, not knowing Channel 5 was gonna show it. The day after that, they slated it to be aired today. They totally read my mind. =)

I'm so saving money to get a digital camera and maybe a lomo one (the type that can take 4 pics or more within a few seconds). This way, I can bring it wherever I go. Somtimes you never know what's gonna happen and you might wanna take a pic of it. Was looking at the lighting strikes which happened after a shower, how spectacular the view was, so wanted to take a picture of it, but didn't have a camera. Remembered the last time I saw this really heavenly view, it happened just in front of my condominium. The sun's rays were "peeping" through "holes" in the thick clouds. A pity I didn't have a camera with me, what a spectacular picture it would have been.. Sigh.. Regret, regret..
